Dr. Dana Williamson is a Licensed Evangelist, Ordained Chaplain, and Trained Spiritual Director whose ministry flows from deep compassion and extensive theological and academic preparation. She holds a Doctorate in Theology, a Master’s in Social Work, and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. She is also a trained Spiritual Director through the Southern Methodist University Perkins School of Theology Spiritual Director Program, which equips her to minister with wisdom, discernment, and a practical understanding of human behavior, trauma, and restoration.
Her calling was profoundly affirmed through a life-changing friendship that awakened her heart for jail ministry and serving marginalized and hurting individuals. Dana’s approach to ministry is not scripted; she is led by the Spirit of God, the moment, and the environment, creating space for truth, healing, and transformation to unfold organically.
Whether speaking publicly, offering spiritual direction, or counseling one-on-one, Dana carries a message of redemption, restoration, and hope. Her passion is to reach those who feel unseen, unheard, or disqualified, reminding them that Jesus meets people exactly where they are—and lovingly walks with them toward wholeness.
